Anvaya Cove, Enjoy Nature

1/28/2008

Some people go to the extent of "walling” themselves in, even literally through high fences, locked doors, and centrally air-conditioned houses. Instead of open windows, they rely on viewing the outside world from a flat screen TV with platinum cable subscriptions. To assuage their aloneness, they entertain themselves with computer games and Wii. Not wanting to step outdoors, the health buff resorts to exercise machines and video aerobics. Hello! Wean yourself from your peripheral wandering and get outside! There's a great world out there that you can actually touch and hold. Go out and live life first-hand.

I would like to take a step further and urge people to come out of their shells and try something new and natural. Stay under the sun for a little while more or experience getting a bit more wet in the rain. Appreciate the big and small changes in nature. Be a little more daring. The angels often repeated, "Do not be afraid!” How often has fear stopped us from doing something we could have enjoyed? Have you stepped a little closer to the edge of the cliff to get a better view? Have you attempted to trek a mountain though you couldn’t see its peak? Have you explored a cave to see the wonders it protects? Have you dived the depth of the ocean to see the world from a different perspective? Maybe, we will never actually get to do all these, but by thinking this way in our own personal realm, we may learn to enjoy life and, perhaps, attempt and achieve a little more.

However, if you would like to keep the comfort and luxury of home while enjoying what nature has to offer, there are places like Anvaya Cove in Morong, Bataan. The bright minds behind this leisure development have successfully highlighted the beauty of our environment in a warm and luxurious setting, only a few kilometers outside the Subic Bay Freeport. With the Pampanga-Subic expressway nearing completion, travel time to this haven will be cut considerably. Anvaya is a tropical Asian inspired leisure community developed by Ayala Land. It is one good way of enjoying the outdoors and still having the security most people look for. You can relish the sea and the mountains, the best of both worlds. It boasts of a well-appointed beach club lying along a 3.5 km coastline, with two private coves. It is a community nestled in clusters within 320 hectares of rolling hills, planted to mango and narra trees, interspersed with bamboo groves. Forest walks are tranquil, pawikan and several species of birds are among your friendly neighbors, and the sea continually beckons to its Cliffside homeowners.

On the other hand, if you want something more natural than this, dare to go exploring for places nature has nurtured and tucked away in still nameless coves and forests. And when you discover such a place, leave only your footprint as a vow to keep that place as pristine and beautiful as you found it.
