Seaside Development

5/8/2007

When people start earning a living, they usually also save up for a car, a home…a second car, a second home (vacation home). For a while, this seemed to be a trend with many of my clients.  Lately, I noticed a few changes.

Because of the great strides in communication and technology, a lot more people now opt to conduct business in the comfort of their homes.  Some seek further inspiration by living by the sea or on the mountains where they can be closer to their muses and commune with nature.

Some merely wish to rest early on their laurels and enjoy the fruits of their labors. They are now trying to make sense of the many number of years of being cramped up in an office and resolving to enjoy the rest of their lives.

Working from home does have its benefits! One reaps more time with the family and forgoes time wasted on travel and traffic.  Home cooked meals are a bonus. One can forget stiff and fancy clothes (although this may not be a benefit for some!).

After working so hard for so many years, we deserve a place where we can recharge, meditate, and sort out things, with the end-view of being more productive.

Rest is something foolish people forget to do. When in truth, it is the reason we go home… to rest (although I would think some housewives will not agree!).

Seaside developments have mushroomed from as far north as Subic to as far south as Cebu. These ideally-situated areas now boast of the Anvaya and Amara developments.

It has something to do with living by the sea, beside water-the source of all life-that gives us life.
